Day of peace in Mozambique:Renamo's message.

We are celebrating 23 years since
Renamo managed to convince the
Frelimo regime, one-party state, which
did
not accept fundamental freedoms of
persons and the right to life, access to education, health and the market
economy. It took Renamo, as the
legitimate representative and defender
of the people,to take up arms and fight
hard for 16 years not only against the
forces of Frelimo but also against all the countries that supported it, as Russians,
Cubans, Tanzanians, Zimbabweans and
other mercenaries. But thanks to the
support of the Mozambican people and
the strength of God, Renamo won. With
this victory Renamo managed to establish a multi-party democracy that
was so needed in the Mozambican
homeland. Clearly it was Renamo who
fought, accepted all kinds of sacrifice,
and that could change the state of
affairs in the country. The single party has disappeared. The law of the death
penalty disappeared. The control
through route plans disappeared. The
state economy system and Frelimo
regime of cooperatives over. The barrier
that existed on religious freedom ended.Died did the People's Republic of
Mozambique and the Republic of
Mozambique was born, allowing the
practices of the market economy, which
is the only economic model applied to
economic development worldwide. With democracy brought by Renamo we
saw born several institutions of higher
education. Although these institutions
are still deprived is not ideal for the
solution. The State multiplied higher
education colleges thus satisfying the demand for higher education by the
majority of young Mozambicans.
