High temperatures in Maputo:some people sought hospital emergency services.

In recent days the country has recorded high temperatures. Tuesday, in Maputo,the thermometer stood at around 41 degrees centigrade and 26 people sought emergency services of the Maputo Central Hospital (MCH). "Of the 26, 10 were asthmatics who were
treated, only one is under observation,the remaining 16 are sick with symptoms related to the change in blood pressure that is a result of peak temperatures," said Samir Correia, doctor of urgency services. The patients were older people, mostly with asthma and hypertension problems.Some part of Zimbabwe and South Africa are reported to be experiencing high temperatures too.
