Parliamentarians concerned about the 'hunting'' of people with albinism in the country

The Office of the Parliamentary Women
(GMP) of the Parliament expressed
concern about the wave of abductions
and kidnappings of albinism carriers in the
country, which has seen Nampula province as one of the most critical points. "We are very distressed, because this
phenomenon is gaining ground in our
country," said the president of GMP,
Francisca Domingos Tomás, during the announcement this week of holding
parliamentary seminars to oversee and monitor the implementation of various
laws passed by Parliament, which
defends and promotes Mozambican
woman and child. The president of the
GMP proved to be very concerned about
the occurrence of this criminal phenomenon in Mozambique, saying
that "we did not expect that you had a
choice of the color of people's skin or
children, but I believe that by joining
the forces of Mozambican society, we
have to strongly condemn these abductions and find conjugated forms
for this to be stalled as quickly as
possible. "
