Police concerned about weapons in the hands of Renamo.

The Police of the Republic of Mozambique says it is concerned about weapons that are in the hands of men of Renamo and understands that the residual forces of Afonso Dhlakama's party must submit voluntarily as did their leader.

This position was was said on Tuesday during the weekly briefing given by General Command in Maputo. Inacio Dina,beyond talk of clashes between Renamo and government forces, which took place in Zambézia and Tete, also spoke of more than thirty people killed in road accidents only in weekend.

Note that the most critical period is from 0-3 hours and the most affected age group is young people aged 25 to 30 years, among the causes stands out speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol.
